The place where most people have gone to since they were a child is closing down. Coney Island is getting a makeover. They are replacing the old rides with new ones. Astroland Park is closing down. Thor Equities bought the land and is deciding to put a multi-million dollar amusement park in Astroland’s place. A lot of people love going there and it’s fit for everyone’s budget. It’s like a part of us and it would be so hard to get rid of it. Protesters are getting their wish that they won’t replace it until the end of 2008. The summer of 2008 would be the last summer for Astroland. We have one more chance to say goodbye to Astroland!!!!!
