People are going crazy over a new book. It’s even beating some of Harry Potter’s records in it first week only! It’s Twilight, the new book that teens everywhere are going crazy over. Twilight is a love story between a vampire and a human. The book has taken the nation by storm. Everywhere you go there are Twilight blogs, forums, and websites popping up from admiring and addicted fans.
The book is about a girl named Isabella “Bella” Swan. She’s starting high school in a new state where she lives with her dad, the local sheriff. In school all the boys pay attention to her although she doesn’t notice. She’s become preoccupied with the notorious Edward Cullen, the hottest guy in school who just happens to have a thing for her too. Things start to heat up when Bella finds out Edward’s terrible secret. Trouble ensues when a group of nomadic vampires stop by for a visit and the leader has set his sights on Bella. For dinner! I’m not going to tell you the rest though — you’ll just have to read and find out!
Stephenie Meyer, the illustrious author of Twilight, says the idea for the book came to her in a dream. She’s already written two other books in the series and plans to write a fourth book are in the works.
